Junior High and High School prepare students for college and professional careers as well as laying the groundwork for a personal faith and commitment to Christ. Students progress beyond concrete thinking and begin to think abstractly. The world expands to an exploration of laboratory science, mathematics, Bible, history, English, Spanish as disciplines that will emerge as specialties in higher education. We encourage each student to pursue art, music, physical training in sports and class, drama, and leadership development. Some of our students desire to pursue technical expertise instead of further academic training.
High School sponsors field trips, missions trips abroad, service projects, community service and weekly worship. Teachers work in building relationships with students. Upton Lake is seeking to develop dedicated lifetime learners and active Christian involvement. We feature a strong scripture memory program that starts in kindergarten, continues through high school and hopefully for life! Since parents are a child's most important teachers and models, we prayerfully partner with you in the process. We welcome parent involvement as chaperones, facilitators of class trips and events and workshop teachers or coordinators.

High school provides a challenging learning environment in which each student is thoroughly prepared for higher education or the pursuit of a technical career. Students are challenged to develop a personal and active faith in Christ and practice leadership within a supportive mentoring framework. Our school's recognition as a New York State non-public institution assures our students acceptance into any university given their personal qualifications and standing.
