Academics and Culture
Upton Lake Christian School (ULCS) has been educating children and youth in the Hudson Valley, New York for over 30 years. God is blessing this school and provides our young people with an engaging traditional complement of educational benefits. Everyone who works with our students is a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. This school is spiritually and physically supported by the Evangelical Free Church of Clinton Corners and Rock Solid - a clothing collection ministry.
2010 - 2011 Focus: Anchored in Truth, Gripped by Grace, Serving with Love
Eph. 4:15 - 16 "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

Curriculum-
Brain research provides many new teaching methods and resources which are being considered and updated each year.
Faith building-
Students are being challenged to live out their faith through leadership opportunities, community service, mission trips, and mentoring.
Interactive-
Elementary and high school students occasionally blend in a family friendly environment.
Computer technology-
Following a program designed by Boston University and the University of VA; each student is taught word, excel, publisher, and internet research skills within the context of classroom assignments.
Personal Attention-
One to five teacher student ratio.
SAT prep-
Most of our students are college bound and we assist them with the process of applying to the college of their choice.
Prayerful-
Our God can do so much more than we can. He is here working with us through the power of the Holy Spirit ‘moving mountains', comforting the hurting, bringing truth, love, grace, and knowledge to each of our students.
Christian Maturation-
ULCS creates a safe, peaceful environment that honors Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. All students enjoy this positive and nurturing place where they can understand and know God as their creator and lover of their souls. Scripture memory allows God's Word to permeate the world's view.
