What time does school start and end?
School starts at 8:15 for elementary and 8:20 for high school.
The school day ends at 2:50.
What are the class sizes?
Classes have no more than 15 students.
Do you provide lunch?
No. All students should bring lunch from home. Lunch bags and boxes should be marked for easy identification. Students in the High School (grades 7-12) have access to a refrigerator and a microwave. Pizza is delivered at a nominal cost one day a week with sign-ups provided for parents or students.
Morning snacks in the elementary K-6 are provided by parents. During elementary snack times, healthy snacks such as pretzels, applesauce, and juice boxes are available for sale.
The Yearbook Club sells items as a fundraiser at the school store in the high school building. They are available for purchase at lunch and after school.
Is there security?
Yes. We have a school monitor who works during school hours. School entrances are locked and closely watched.
Are parents encouraged to be involved?
Yes! We welcome and encourage parents to become involved in school life. There are many opportunities to volunteer in a variety of ways, from providing food to helping at school events to attending field trips. We always welcome a new club idea and lead.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Our students do not wear uniforms.
The following are not allowed:
Baseball hats
Tank tops
Offensive writing on tops
Ripped clothing
Shorts shorter than mid-thigh length
Skirts shorter than knee-length
Off the shoulder, low cut, or crop tops
Pajamas (except for Pajama Day)
Shorts from Nov. 1 - Mar. 31
Tuesday is Chapel Day
Boys — dress pants, belt, button down shirt, tie
Girls — dress pants or skirt, dress top
No hoodies
